Facade Improvement Grant Opportunity

Do you have plans to make impactful improvements to the façade of your Downtown Marquette building in 2025? If so, the Downtown Marquette Façade Improvement Grant may be for you!

Eligible applicants include owners of commercial properties and business owners located within the boundaries of Marquette’s DDA District. Grants require a 2:1 cash match on behalf of the applicant for all eligible expenses.

The minimum applicant contribution required is $2,000, which would be matched with $1,000 from the DDA for a total project cost of $3,000. The maximum match made by the DDA is $7,500 for applicant contributions of $15,000 or greater, for total project costs of $22,500 or greater.

The Marquette DDA has put forth $60,000 for this grant for fiscal year 2025, and the funds are available on a rolling basis until all funds have been awarded.
