Payment Methods

Pay Stations

  • Know your license plate number & locate a pay station.

  • Press any button to start.

  • Follow the prompts to enter your license plate number.

  • Select from the options to pay to park or extend session (add time to your parked vehicle).

  • Choose between option #1- free 15 minutes and option #2- $1.00 per hour.

  • The machine will flash message “Get Ready for Payment”

  • Wait a few seconds for the message “Please Insert Coins or Credit Card”

  • Insert coins until you reach the total you want OR insert a credit card and press 1 to add time in 30-minute increments.

  • Press OK to complete transaction.

Passport Parking App

  • Download the Passport Parking App or go to passportparking.com and click pay online

  • Look for a Passport Parking Sign with Zone #

    • Use Zone 0303 for Front St., Washington St, and Commons Parking Lot

    • Use Zone 1010 for Main St. and Lot, Spring St and Lot, Baraga Ave, South 3rd
      St., Pier Lot and Lakeshore Lot.

    • Use Zone 2424 for the lower level of Bluff St. Ramp

  • Enter the zone # & your vehicle license plate #.

  • Enter length of stay: 15 minutes free (continue to pay $0), or $1/hour - slide the bar to length of stay needed

  • Enter payment information

  • Get parking session alerts

  • Extend parking session remotely if you wish

Passport App Support

Text to Park

Pay for parking with your phone without installing an app. Simply text “Park” to 30844 to begin your session. A link will be texted back to you, which will take you to PassportParking.com where you can make an account or sign in as a guest. You will need to enter the parking zone (found on signs), vehicle information, and pay via credit card, but you will not need to install an app.
